After you generate a schema comparison project file (.scomp), you can create a comparison report to export the results.
To generate a comparison report:
1. Open the Comparison Report dialog in one of these ways:
In the top menu, select Comparison > Generate Comparison Report.
On the Comparison toolbar, click
Generate Comparison Report.
2. In the dialog:

The file name cannot contain any of the following characters:
",*,/,:,<,>,?,\, and|.

3. Click Generate.
Tip
To open the comparison report after generation, select View report on completion.
The table lists the options you can configure to customize the comparison report.

You can create a .bat file with the command-line settings to automate or schedule schema comparison and synchronization.
To save command-line settings to a .bat file:
1. In the lower-left corner of the Comparison Report dialog, click Save Command Line.
2. In the Command line execution file settings dialog, configure the command-line settings.
3. To verify the settings, click Validate.
4. Click Save to save the file.
