Index-Organized Tables

An index-organized table (IOT) is a type of table that stores data in a B*Tree index structure.
Creating an Index-Organized Table
- Click the New Database Object button on the Standard toolbar.
- Select the Table type in the dialog.
- Input the table name.
- Add columns to the table.
- Click Index Organized.
- Go to the IOT tab.
- Set required index-organized parameters.
- Save the document.
To drop an index-organized table, select a required table, and then select Delete on the shortcut menu.
Note
While dropping a table, all its data will be lost.
