The ISIN format is standardized under ISO 6166 and is used globally to uniquely identify securities for trading and settlement purposes.

Matching rules

The generator can be assigned to a column whose name is ISIN, regardless of the table name.

Configure additional options

• Specify a separator between groups of digits. By default, a hyphen or a space is used to separate the digits.
• Clear the checkboxes next to the countries where ISIN should be excluded from the generated data. By default, all countries are selected. They are Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Mexico, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Kingdom, and United States.
