Granting and Revoking Roles

Security Manager allows granting and revoking roles. To do this, you should:

  1. Open Security Manager.
  2. Expand the Users node for granting privileges to a user or the Roles node for granting privileges to a role.
  3. Select the required user or role.
  4. Switch to the Role tab.
  5. Select checkboxes in the Granted column for required roles’ rows in the grid to grant required roles. Clear the checkboxes in the Granted column for required roles’ rows to revoke required roles.
  6. You can optionally select or clear the checkboxes in the Admin Option column for granted roles’ rows to grant or revoke role admin option.
  7. Click the Save button on the Security Manager toolbar to apply changes.
