Moving Review Server

Whenever, after the trial period has ended, you decide to continue using Review Assistant on the permanent basis, you may want to move the Review Assistant server to another PC.

  1. Install Review Assistant on the new server PC (make sure to include the server part into installation).

  2. Stop the Devart Review Assistant service (to quickly locate it, click Windows Start orb, type in the search field “View Local Services”, press Enter).

  3. Copy settings.xml to the new server, it is located:

    • in Windows XP - C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Devart\Review Assistant
    • in Windows Vista/7/8/10 - C:\ProgramData\Devart\Review Assistant

  4. Restart the Devart Review Assistant service.
