Viewing Object Dependencies

The Objects Dependencies tree, introduced in dbForge Studio for MySQL, offers a fast a simple way to view and navigate through database object dependencies that belong to each database object.

Each of available database objects within Database Explorer has Depends On and Used By collections.

The Depends On collection includes database objects that must be present for the object to function properly. The Used By collection includes database objects that depend upon the selected object.

In its turn, you can expand any object within Used By or Depends On to analyze its own dependencies.

Right-click any database element to learn more about it, find it in Database Explorer etc. (the list of available options depends on an object type).
