Deactivation

To deactivate a Devart product, your computer must have an Internet connection.

1. Go to the Help menu and click Deactivate.

2. The deactivation window opens. Click Deactivate.

Note

If your deactivation is successful, the product switches to the trial mode. You can now use this serial number on a different computer.

You can also remotely deactivate your product on the Devart Customer Portal.

To deactivate dbForge SQL Complete:

1. Log in to your account on the Devart Customer Portal.

2. Go to the My products tab and select the product you want to deactivate.

3. The License details page opens and shows the list of active licenses.

4. Select the license you want to deactivate and click Deactivate.

It is also possible to deactivate dbForge SQL Complete using the command line.

1. Open Command Prompt.

2. Enter the path to the sqlcomplete.com file located in the SQL Complete installation folder on your machine. For instance:

cd "C:\Program Files (x86)\Devart\dbForge SQL Complete"

3. Now run the following command:

sqlcomplete.com /deactivate
