Last modified: March 28, 2025
You can use a tunneling script to set up HTTP tunneling in dbForge Data Compare for MySQL.
1. Open Windows Explorer and type the following text in the address line: ftp://web_server_nameIip address:port/
This will bring you to your directories on the web server.
2. Enter your login information, if required.
3. Find the tunnel.php script in the directory where Data Compare is installed (for example, C:\Program Files\Devart\dbForge Data Compare for MySQL) and upload it to the required directory on the web server.
When the tunneling script is uploaded, set up HTTP tunneling to connect to the required database. You will need the URL of the uploaded script to do that.
