Create additional elements on a diagram

In addition to database objects, you can add containers, notes, stamps, images, and comments to the diagram.
Add a container to a diagram
To add a container to a diagram:
1. On the Database Diagram toolbar, select New Container.
2. Place a cursor on the diagram and resize the container.

Add a note to a diagram
To add a note to a diagram:
1. On the Database Diagram toolbar, select New Note.
2. Place a cursor on the diagram and resize the note.
3. Enter the note text.

Add a stamp
To add a stamp to a diagram:
1. On the Database Diagram toolbar, select New Stamp.
2. Place a cursor on the diagram and resize the stamp.

Add an image
1. On the Database Diagram toolbar, select New Image.
2. Place a cursor on the diagram.
3. In the Open window that appears, browse for the image you want to insert in the diagram and select Open.

Synchronize with Document Outline
To display the object in Document Outline, right-click it and select Synchronize with Document Outline.
