Receiving and Sending Alerts and Pipe Messages

How to start listening to alerts

1. Open Event Monitor.
2. Select Alert in the Event type box.
3. Enter name of the required alert.
4. Click the button on the Event Monitor toolbar.

To stop listening to the alerts, click this button again.

How to get one alert or pipe message

1. Open Event Monitor.
2. Select the required event type.
3. Enter the name of the required alert or pipe.
4. Click the button on the Event Monitor toolbar.

How to send alert or pipe message

1. Open Event Monitor.
2. Select the required event type.
3. Enter the name of the required alert or pipe.
4. Enter the message text.
5. Click the button on the Event Monitor toolbar.
