.NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 or higher is required for LinqConnect.
The Express editions of the following Devart data providers are included into LinqConnect:
- Devart dotConnect for Oracle
- Devart dotConnect for MySql
- Devart dotConnect for PostgreSql
- Devart dotConnect for SQLite

Compatibility
LinqConnect generates models compatible with Visual Studio 2008 - 2022. LinqConnect has its own bundled visual model designer - Entity Developer that is integrated with Visual Studio and can be invoked from the IDE, but Visual Studio is not required for LinqConnect and Entity Developer to function.
Compatibility with Devart Data Providers
Since DBMS-specific functionality of LinqConnect depends on the assemblies of the corresponding Devart data provider, only compatible versions of data providers should be used together with LinqConnect. Since the LinqConnect installation package already includes the compatible data providers for supported DBMS's, this note is important only if you additionally install a Devart data provider for a particular DBMS.
