View comparison reports

After the comparison report has been generated, dbForge Data Compare for MySQL opens it automatically in the file format you have specified, except for the cases when you have cleared the View report on the completion checkbox in the Comparison Report dialog. In this case, you need to go to the folder that stores the report to open it.

CSV reports

A Comma Separated Values (CSV) file is a plain text file that contains a list of data. These files are often used for exchanging data between different applications.

For each selected table or view and for each of the row types you selected to include into synchronization, Data Compare for MySQL creates a separate CSV file.

Data Compare for MySQL also creates a SummaryResults file.

When configuring Excel report generation, you can select to show the number of differences per column and include actual data records for different objects.
