Deactivation

Deactivation of a Devart product requires an Internet connection.

dbForge Edge can be deactivated via:

• User interface
• Customer Portal

Deactivation via the user interface

To deactivate dbForge Edge

1. On the Help menu of any dbForge Studio, click Deactivate.

2. In the deactivation window that opens, click Deactivate. This will also deactivate all other Studios included in the dbForge Edge pack.

Note

If the deactivation has been successful, the product will switch to the trial mode. You can now use this serial number on a different computer.

Deactivation in Customer Portal

To deactivate dbForge Edge

1. Log in to your account at Customer Portal.

2. On the My Products tab, click the product you want to deactivate. The License details page with the list of active licenses opens.

3. In the Active licenses section, select the license you want to deactivate and click Deactivate.
