How to deactivate dbForge Documenter for SQL Server
Deactivation of Devart products requires Internet connection.
Deactivation via the user interface
1. Go to the Help menu and click Deactivate.
2. The Deactivate Product window opens. Click Deactivate.
Note
If your deactivation is successful, the product switches to the trial mode. You can now use this serial number on a different computer.
Deactivation via the Devart Customer Portal
You can also remotely deactivate your product on the Devart Customer Portal.
To deactivate dbForge Documenter:
1. Log in to your account on the Devart Customer Portal.
2. Go to the My products tab and select the product you want to deactivate.
3. The License details page opens and shows the list of active licenses.
4. Select the license you want to deactivate and click Deactivate.
Deactivation via the command line
It is also possible to deactivate dbForge Documenter using the command line.
1. Open Command Prompt.
2. Enter the path to the Documenter file located in the Documenter installation folder on your machine. For instance:
cd "C:\Program Files\Devart\dbForge Documenter for SQL Server"
3. Run the following command:
documenter /deactivate
