Check Constraint Generator

The Check Constraint (Auto Assigned) Generator generates values within the value range of the check constraint expression. The generator is automatically assigned to a column for which a certain check constraint is defined. It uses the check constraint expression to limit the value range of the data generated for the column.
The dialog box of the Check Constraint Generator shows the check constraint expression and contains basic settings and custom settings. You can customize the generator by changing the basic and custom settings.
Custom settings
Check constraint
Specifies the name of the check constraint for the selected column.
Expression
Specifies the check constraint expression.
Use Min and Max range from <generatorname> generator (<categoryname> category)
Select the check box to set minimum and maximum values of the specified generator (next by relevance). This option is available only for Numeric and Date/Time data types.
