View Commands

The Edit menu contains the following commands:

View White Space

Enables the view white space mode to display spaces and tab characters.

Word Wrap

Automatically displays any part of a line that extends horizontally beyond the viewable editor area on the next line.

Show Line Numbers

Displays line numbers to the left of the comparison panes.

Difference Explorer

Opens the Difference Explorer docking window.

Find Results

Opens the Find Result docking window.

Toolbars

This sub-menu allows you to enable and disable the default Code Compare toolbars and create your own ones.

Code Comparison

Displays or hides the Code Comparison toolbar in the toolbar area.

Folder Comparison

Displays or hides the Folder Comparison toolbar in the toolbar area.

Layout

Displays or hides the Layout toolbar in the toolbar area.

Standard

Displays or hides the Standard toolbar in the toolbar area.

Text

Displays or hides the Text toolbar in the toolbar area.

Customize

Calls the Customization dialog box designed for customizing the default Code Compare toolbars, creating user-defined toolbars and customizing their display.
