Unlink a database from Source Control

Deleting a database from the server does not automatically unlink it from source control. If you recreate a database with the same name, it will automatically re-link to Source Control. To prevent this, you must unlink the database from source control before deleting it.

Databases linked to source control are marked with a unique icon in Database Explorer, making them easy to identify.
