Deleting a database from the server does not automatically unlink it from source control. If you recreate a database with the same name, it will automatically re-link to Source Control. To prevent this, you must unlink the database from source control before deleting it.
Databases linked to source control are marked with a unique icon in Database Explorer, making them easy to identify.

To unlink a database:
1. In Database Explorer, right-click the database you want to unlink, then select Source Control > Unlink Database from Source Control.

2. Click Yes to confirm the action.

After unlinking, the source control icon is removed from the database in Database Explorer.
