Deactivation

To deactivate a Devart product, Internet connection is required.

Deactivation via the user interface

To deactivate dbForge Studio for MySQL via the user interface:

1. Go to the Help menu and click Deactivate.

2. The deactivation window opens. Click Deactivate.

Note:

If your deactivation is successful, the product switches to the trial mode. You can now use this serial number on a different computer.

Deactivation via the customer portal

You can also remotely deactivate your product on the Devart website through the customer portal.

To deactivate the product via the user’s cabinet:

1. Log in to your account on the Devart customer portal.
2. On the My products tab, click the product you want to deactivate.
3. The License details page opens and shows the list of active licenses.
4. Select the license you want to deactivate and click Deactivate.

Deactivation via the command line

It is also possible to deactivate dbForge Studio for MySQL using the command line.

1. Open the command prompt.
2. Proceed to the folder where your executable file is located.
3. Run a command with the following syntax:

dbforgemysql.com /deactivate
