Deactivate dbForge Schema Compare for SQL Server

You can deactivate dbForge Schema Compare for SQL Server in the application, in the Customer Portal, or from the command line.

An internet connection is required for deactivation.

Note

After deactivation, you can’t use dbForge Schema Compare for SQL Server until you activate it again.

Deactivate in the application

1. On the menu bar, select Help > Deactivate.

2. Click Deactivate.

Deactivate in the Customer Portal

1. Log in to the Customer Portal.

2. On the Products page, hover over the product and click Details.

3. Select the license you want to deactivate.

4. Click Deactivate.

Deactivate from the command line

1. Open Command Prompt.

2. Navigate to the installation folder of dbForge Schema Compare that contains the schemacompare.com executable.

The default path is C:\Program Files\Devart\Compare Bundle for SQL Server\dbForge Schema Compare for SQL Server.

Note

If you installed dbForge Schema Compare as part of dbForge SQL Tools, the default path to the installation folder is C:\Program Files\Devart\dbForge SQL Tools Enterprise\dbForge Schema Compare for SQL Server.

3. Run the following command:

schemacompare.com /deactivate
