Auto-Search Mode

Auto-search mode allows you to search data in the column by typing the string, field of the searched row that it is started with. You can turn the Auto-Search mode on or off by pressing CTRL+I keys, by selecting the Auto-search mode on the dbForge Data menu (for Data view), or by clicking the corresponding button on the Data Editor toolbar or on the Data window toolbar for the Data window.

To search the data, turn the Auto-Search mode on, select a cell in the column to search data in and type first letters of the required data. If you made a mistake when typing, press BACKSPACE and type the string again.

To navigate to the next entry, press CTRL+DOWN keys. To come back to the previous entry, press CTRL+UP. The entries will be highlighted.
