Gets or sets a value indicating whether to allow spilling dirty cache pages to the database file in the middle of a transaction.

Property Value

If true, spilling dirty cache pages to the database file in the middle of a transaction is allowed; otherwise, it is not. By default, true.

Remarks

Generally it is recommended to leave this property set to true; however, this causes acquiring an EXCLUSIVE lock on the database file. If ypour application has long-running transactions, and the database is accessed by other applications, you may need to set this property to This property sets the corresponding SQLite PRAGMA - cache_spill.
