Licensing

Devart offers licenses for the Professional and Standard editions of Entity Developer. You can evaluate the Professional edition during the free trial.

Free trial

The trial period starts on the day you activate the product.

After the trial ends, Entity Developer will automatically switch to the free Express edition, which offers a limited feature set. You can continue using the Express edition or purchase a Professional license to access the full feature set.

Your product licenses

You can manage your product licenses in the Customer Portal on the Devart website. Sign in using the email address and password you provided when you purchased the product or downloaded the trial version.

On the Customer Portal, you can:

•	View details of your purchased or trial products.

•	Check the number of licenses and activations.

•	See the hardware ID of the machine where each license is activated (generated from BIOS, CPU, and HDD parameters).

•	Deactivate licenses or extend active subscriptions.

You can also deactivate a license or extend a subscription using the Customer Portal.

Note

If you deactivate a product, it cannot be used until it is reactivated. Deactivation also frees the license for use on another machine.
