Gets or sets the System.Data.DbType of the parameter.

Property Value

One of the System.Data.DbType values. The default value is System.String.

Remarks

The SQLiteType and DbType are linked. Therefore, setting the changes the SQLiteType to a supporting SQLiteType.

Example

The following example creates a SQLiteParameter and sets some of its properties, including the DbType property.

  SQLiteParameter myParameter = new SQLiteParameter();
  myParameter.ParameterName = "DName";
  myParameter.DbType = DbType.String;
  myParameter.Direction = ParameterDirection.Output;
