When using the System.Data.Common.DbDataAdapter.Update(System.Data.DataSet) method, there are two events that occur per data row updated. The order of execution is as follows:
- The values in the System.Data.DataRow are moved to the parameter values.
- The RowUpdating event is raised.
- The command executes.
- If the System.Data.UpdateRowSource enumeration is set to System.Data.UpdateRowSource.FirstReturnedRecordS, the first returned result is placed in the System.Data.DataRow.
- If there are output parameters, they are placed in the System.Data.DataRow.
- The RowUpdated event is raised.
- System.Data.DataRow.AcceptChanges is called.
