Gets or sets a value indicating whether the UTF16 charset will be used.

Property Value

true, if client charset UTF16 is used; false, if default client charset is used. The default value for Full .NET Framework is false. For .NET Core, the default value is true.

Remarks

Sets Oracle server client charset to UTF16 and converts client data according to this charset.
