static void Main(string[] args)
{
  DB2Connection db2Conn = new DB2Connection(
      "user id=db2admin;server=db2;database=SAMPLE;");
  DB2Monitor db2Monitor = new DB2Monitor();
  db2Monitor.TraceEvent += new MonitorEventHandler(OnEvent);
  db2Monitor.IsActive = true;
  DB2Command db2Command = new DB2Command("select count(*) from Dept",db2Conn);
  db2Conn.Open();
  Console.WriteLine(db2Command.ExecuteScalar());
  db2Conn.Close();
  db2Monitor.TraceEvent -= new MonitorEventHandler(OnEvent);
  Console.ReadLine();
}
Sub OnEvent(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As MonitorEventArgs)
  If e.TracePoint = MonitorTracePoint.BeforeEvent Then
    Console.WriteLine("Description: " & e.Description)
