ToString Method (OracleLob)

Converts the current OracleLob object to a System.String.

Syntax

public override string ToString()

Public Overrides Function ToString() As String

A System.String with the same value as the OracleLob.

Remarks

If a Value is actually a sequence of bytes that represent a string, you can use ToString method to obtain that string. The default encoding is used.

Example

The example shows a code fragment that gets a OracleLob field from a OracleReader and writes it to the console.
