Sid Property (OracleConnection)

Gets or sets a unique name for an Oracle database instance.

Syntax

public string Sid {get; set;}

Unique name for an Oracle database instance to use in the OracleConnection.Direct mode. The default value is empty string.

Remarks

This Sid property is used only in OracleConnection.Direct mode. When a value is assigned to this property, the OracleConnection is closed.
