    Represents Oracle SYS.ANYDATA type.
    Syntax

    Remarks

    This type contains an instance of a given type, with data, plus a description of the type. OracleAnyData can be used as a table column datatype and lets you store heterogeneous values in a single column. The values can be of SQL built-in types as well as user-defined types.

    This type is supported starting with Oracle 9i.

    OracleAnyData can be used with one of these types:

    • OracleDbType.OracleDbType.Array
    • OracleDbType.OracleDbType.Char
    • OracleDbType.OracleDbType.Date
    • OracleDbType.OracleDbType.Double (Oracle 10 and above)
    • OracleDbType.OracleDbType.Float (Oracle 10 and above)

    • OracleDbType.OracleDbType.IntervalYM
    • OracleDbType.OracleDbType.NChar
    • OracleDbType.OracleDbType.Number
