Synchronize to Microsoft Azure SQL databases
Last modified: August 8, 2024
With Data Compare, you can compare and synchronize Microsoft Azure SQL databases.
Unsupported data types
Bear in mind that Microsoft Azure SQL databases don’t support Common Language Runtime (CLR) User-Defined Types and Large User-Defined Types (UDTs).
In case you try to synchronize data types that are not supported to a Microsoft Azure SQL database, the synchronization script will fail.
Note
Microsoft Azure SQL Databases have more limitations. For example, they don’t support Data Compression and SQL Server Replication. To prevent synchronization failures, you need to study this issue.
For more details, refer to Microsoft Azure SQL Database documentation.
