Saving and Loading Data Comparisons

After you have created a document with data comparison, you may save it just like any other document. The saved file has the extension ‘dcomp’. It stores the following information:

• Source and target settings
• Selected objects and subobjects
• Comparison keys
• Results filter
• Skipped objects

It does not contain data comparison results. Data is recompared when the file is opened. If target or source can not be found, the New Data Comparison wizard appears where you should set source or target options.
