Data Editor lets you select, copy, and paste data directly from the results grid.
To select a range of data, hold down Shift and select the first and last cells of the range.
To select all cells in the grid, press Ctrl+A.
To include or exclude specific cells in your selection, hold down Ctrl and select the cells.
You can copy the selected rows and paste them into another application, such as a spreadsheet. When you paste data into the grid, only the first row from the clipboard is inserted.
To copy the selected data, right-click it and select Copy, or press Ctrl+C.
To copy the selected data with headers, right-click it and select Copy With Headers, or press Ctrl+Shift+C.
To copy only the column names, right-click the data and select Copy Data As > Copy Column Names Only.
To copy only the column names and data types, right-click the data and select Copy Data As > Copy Column Names and Types.
To paste data, right-click the row where you want to insert the data and select Paste or Paste As New Records.
Alternatively, press Ctrl+V.
The Copy-Paste feature of Data Editor lets you copy data from external sources, such as text files, Excel spreadsheets, or other tables in the app, and paste it into the grid. You can also copy data from the grid and paste it into other applications.
To copy data to the clipboard, select the cells, rows, or columns you want to copy, and press Ctrl+C.
To paste the copied data, place the cursor where you want to insert the data, and press Ctrl+V.

Ensure cached updates are enabled.
To enable cached updates, click
on the Data Editor toolbar.
