With dbForge Studio, you can link commits to Team Foundation Server (TFS) issues and close them together.
To link a commit to and/or resolve a TFS issue (work item):
1. In Database Explorer, right-click a required linked database or a specific database object and select Source Control > Source Control Manager.
The Refresh dialog opens automatically, showing the stages of the refresh operation.
2. In Source Control Manager, go to the Local changes section and click Associate with Work Items to open the dropdown menu.
Note
This control is only available for TFS.
3. In the dropdown menu, specify the names of your Project, Query, and Work Item in the corresponding fields. Then, select Associate or Resolve in the Association Type field:
4. To proceed, click Commit. The Commit dialog opens, showing the stages of the commit operation. When all the stages are completed, click OK to close the dialog.
