You can make changes to multiple security objects (logins, users, roles, or application roles) in Security Manager. This feature is helpful if you need to assign the same privileges or roles to several security objects of the same type.
Tabs that you can edit for multiple security objects differ by security object.

1. On the Database menu, select Security Manager.
2. In the tree, select the security objects (logins, users, roles, or application roles) you want to edit:

The following icons demonstrate the state of roles and permissions:
Roles and server permissions:
– Assigned to all selected security objects.
– Assigned not to all selected security objects.
– Not assigned to any of the selected security objects.
Object permissions:
– Assigned to all selected security objects.
– Assigned not to all selected security objects.
