Product Images generator
The Product Images generator produces product pictures in a .jpg format. These images usually depict the product from different angles, showcase its features, and may include lifestyle images to provide context for how the product is used. The generated data may represent either real images stored online or placeholder images for testing or mockups.
Generator properties
The table provides key details about the generator, including the short name, sample of the generated data, the supported data types, and whether it is specific to a particular country.

Matching rules
The generator can be assigned to a column that matches any of the following rules:
- The column name is ‘photo’, ‘image’, or ‘picture’, and it belongs to a table whose name is ‘product’.
- The column name starts with ‘prod’ and ends with ‘image’, ‘photo’, or ‘picture’, with any or no characters in between, regardless of the table name.
Configure additional options
The tool allows you to set up the following options:
- Choose the folder to load data from. The default path to the folder is
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Devart\dbForge Studio for PostgreSQL\Data Generators\Product Image. - Select the Include subfolder checkbox.
- Set a file coding and a file pattern.
