Working Age generator

Last modified: April 3, 2025

The Working Age generator creates random ages within the defined working age range, usually between 18 and 64 years, for use in applications like market research, testing, and educational purposes. It allows organizations or developers to simulate realistic data that reflects the population of people eligible and available for employment.

Matching rules

The generator can be assigned to a column that matches any of the following rules:

  • The column name is ‘age’, regardless of the table name.
  • The column name starts with ‘Work’, ‘Pers’, ‘Staff’, ‘Peopl’, ‘Men’, ‘Emp’, ‘Adult’, or ‘Grown’, with any or no characters in between, and ends with ‘age’, regardless of the table name.

Configure additional options

The generator produces data based on a regular expression. Since it is built on the RegExp generator, see Regular Expression generator to customize settings and understand the correct usage of syntax.
