Phone Extension generator

The Phone Extension generator creates realistic phone extension numbers commonly used in corporate or institutional telephone systems. These extensions are usually short numeric sequences that direct calls to specific internal lines within an organization.

The table provides key details about the generator, including the short name, sample of the generated data, the supported data types, and whether it is specific to a particular country.

Matching rules

The generator can be assigned to a column whose name is ‘extension’ or ‘extn’, regardless of the table name.
