Middle Name generator

The Middle Name generator creates middle names for individuals, often used in systems requiring full legal or formal names, such as government forms, HR databases, or personalized services.

Generator properties

The table provides key details about the generator, including the short name, sample of the generated data, the supported data types, and whether it is specific to a particular country.

Matching rules

The generator can be assigned to a column that matches any of the following rules:

The column name starts with ‘add’, ‘middle’, or ‘third’ and ends with ‘name’, with any or no characters in between, regardless of the table name.
The column name is ‘midname’ or ‘mname’, regardless of the table name.
The column name starts with ‘middle’ and ends with ‘init’, with any or no characters in between, regardless of the table name.

Configure additional options

The Text box displays .txt files that contain a list of male and female first names. The default path to the files is
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Devart\dbForge Studio for PostgreSQL\Data Generators\FirstNamesMale.txt.
