Credit Card Expire Year generator

The Credit Card Expire Year generator creates the year portion of credit card expiration dates in a two-digit or four-digit format. It generates realistic future years to simulate the expiration year of credit cards for testing or data generation purposes.

The table provides key details about the generator, including the short name, sample of the generated data, the supported data types, and whether it is specific to a particular country.

Matching rules

The generator can be assigned to a column that matches any of the following rules:

  • The column name is ‘Year’, and it belongs to a table whose name contains ‘CreditCard’, preceded or followed by any or no characters.
  • The column name starts with ‘Exp’ and ends with ‘Year’, with any or no characters in between, and it belongs to a table whose name contains ‘Card’, followed or preceded by any or no characters.
  • The column name is ‘Year’ or ‘FYYear’, regardless of the table name.
  • The column name starts with ‘Card**’, then goes ‘Exp’, preceded or followed by any or no characters, and ends with ‘Year*’, regardless of the table name.
  • The column name starts with ‘Fiskal’ or ‘Calendar’ and ends with ‘Year’, with any or no characters in between, regardless of the table name.
