Credit Card Expire Month generator

The Credit Card Expire Month generator creates the month portion of credit card expiration dates in numeric format (e.g., 01 for January, 12 for December). It generates realistic month values (from 01 to 12) to simulate the expiration month of credit cards for testing or data generation purposes.

Matching rules

The generator can be assigned to a column that matches any of the following rules:

  • The column name is ‘Month’, and it belongs to a table whose name contains ‘CreditCard’, preceded or followed by any or no characters.
  • The column name starts with ‘Exp’ and ends with ‘Month’, with any or no characters in between, and it belongs to a table whose name contains ‘Card’, followed or preceded by any or no characters.
  • The column name starts with ‘Card**’, then goes ‘Exp’, preceded or followed by any or no characters, and ends with ‘Month*’, regardless of the table name.
  • The column name is ‘FYMonth’, regardless of the table name.
  • The column name starts with ‘Calendar’ and ends with ‘Month’, with any or no characters in between, regardless of the table name.
  • The column name ends with ‘Month’, regardless of the table name.
