File Path (Windows) generator

The File Path (Windows) generator creates realistic and diverse file paths that mimic typical directory structures, drive names, and file types found in Windows environments. This type of generator is ideal for testing file system operations, application behaviors with file paths, or scenarios where diverse file path structures are required.

Matching rules
The generator can be assigned to a column that matches any of the following rules:
- The column name starts with ‘Win’ and ends with ‘Folder’ or ‘Path’, with any or no characters in between, regardless of the table name.
- The column name ends with ‘Folder’ or ‘Path’, preceded by any or no characters, regardless of the table name.
- The column name starts with ‘log’ and ends with ‘dir’, with any or no characters in between, regardless of the table name.
- The column name is ‘dir’, regardless of the table name.
Configure additional settings
