ICD9 Procedure Description (long) generator

The ICD9 Procedure Description (long) generator creates detailed textual descriptions corresponding to the codes in the International Classification of Diseases, 9th Revision, Clinical Modification (ICD-9-CM) for medical, surgical, or diagnostic procedures. These descriptions provide an extended narrative explaining the nature and specifics of the procedures associated with ICD9 codes.

The table provides key details about the generator, including the short name, sample of the generated data, the supported data types, and whether it is specific to a particular country.

Matching rules
The generator can be assigned to a column whose name starts with ‘ICD9’, then goes ‘Proc’ or ‘Prc’, preceded or followed by any or no characters, and ends with ‘Desc’, regardless of the table name.
Configure additional options
The generator produces data based on a regular expression. Since it is built on the RegExp generator, see Regular Expression generator to customize settings and understand the correct usage of syntax.
The Text box contains a .csv file that stores information about diagnosis codes. The default path to the file is C:\Users\Public\Documents\Devart\dbForge Studio for PostgreSQL\Data Generators\ICD9ProcedureCodes.csv[1].
