Previewing Schema Synchronization Script
When analyzing the comparison results, you can select any object and preview the synchronization script for it, which will be generated by dbForge Studio for Oracle. This option is very convenient as you can check the script and be sure that you will get the correct synchronization and the desired result after it.
To preview the synchronization script:
Select the required object (or several ones) in the grid and do either of these actions:
- Click the
View Schema Update Script button on the Comparison toolbar. - Right-click the grid and select the View Schema Update Script option.
By default, the window with the script snippet opens under the SchemaComparison window with the comparison results. You can move the opened window to any place in the dbForge Studio for Oracle UI.
