Enables the Always Encrypted feature.

Remarks

Use the AlwaysEncryptedEnabled property to enable the Always Encrypted feature. The default value is False.

The Always Encrypted feature is supported by SQL Server 2019 and later versions.

Note :Full support for the Always Encrypted feature (data reading and writing) is available only for the Direct provider (Provider = prDirect). For the OLE DB provider (Provider = prMSOLEDB), the Always Encrypted feature supports only data reading because the OLE DB provider doesn't provide native support for Always Encrypted. For other providers, Always Encrypted isn't supported.
