Create a new database

Last modified: March 12, 2024

In dbForge Schema Compare for MySQL, users can create a new database that they can then select for comparison when configuring data sources.

This option can be particularly useful if users need to create a replica of the source database for comparison purposes.

Note

You can only create a new database as the Target.

To create a new database:

1. Click New Schema Comparison.

2. In the New Schema Comparison wizard, select Database as the source type and choose the source connection and database.
