Activate using Devart ODBC Administrator

Note

You need to activate the driver even for the trial version.

You can activate the driver using Devart ODBC Administrator. For Subscription licenses, this method requires an internet connection. For Perpetual licenses, no internet connection is required.

Activate the driver

To activate Devart ODBC Driver for MySQL on Linux using Devart ODBC Administrator:

1. Open Devart ODBC Administrator.

2. On the System DSN tab, select DEVART_MYSQL (an automatically created DSN), then click Configure.

Tip

If you’ve created a custom DSN, you can select it instead.

3. On the License tab of the configuration dialog, click Input Activation Key.

4. Here, you can activate the driver using one of the following methods:

• Enter an activation key: Paste your activation key into the corresponding box.

• Load an activation file: Click Load Key and select the file that contains the activation key.

Tip

You can find your activation key in the registration email or your Customer Portal account. To open the Customer Portal, click Get Purchased or Trial Activation Key.

5. Click OK.

Deactivate the driver

To deactivate Devart ODBC Driver for MySQL on Linux using Devart ODBC Administrator:

1. Open Devart ODBC Administrator.

2. On the System DSN tab, select DEVART_MYSQL (an automatically created DSN), then click Configure.

Tip

If you’ve created a custom DSN, you can select it instead.

3. On the License tab of the configuration dialog, click Deactivate Product.
