Connect Access to Dynamics 365

There are two methods for accessing Dynamics 365 data from Microsoft Access:

  • Importing data: Transfers Dynamics 365 records into Access tables for offline analysis or integration with other datasets. For more information, see Import Dynamics 365 data into Access through ODBC.

  • Linking tables: Ensures reliable access to Dynamics 365 datasets by creating linked tables, which allows for real-time interaction with live data. For more information, see Create a linked table to Dynamics 365 data in Access.

Each method offers distinct benefits, letting you work with Dynamics 365 data in the way that best fits your workflow and requirements.
