Before installation, ensure that your system meets the necessary requirements and that your environment is compatible with supported platforms and tools.

Only one version of the driver can be installed on your system at a time.
Note
The driver does not require any additional client software.
Compatibility
ASE compatibility
ODBC Driver for ASE supports the following database servers:
- SAP Adaptive Server Enterprise 16.0 and later
- Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise 12.5.4 and later
The driver is compatible with the following operating systems:
- Windows (32-bit and 64-bit, including Windows Terminal Server)
- macOS (x64 and ARM/Apple Silicon M1)
- Linux (32-bit and 64-bit)
