Appearance

Appearance settings allow you to configure the appearance of imported data in Excel.

 

General

Use column names as header

Select this check box in order to use column names as header for imported data. Otherwise, columns will have default headers like Column1, Column2, etc.

 

Create Excel table for the imported data

Data can be imported and styled as an Excel table. Select this check box and select a style for the table in the Use Excel style for table list in order to create an Excel table for imported data.

 

Use Excel style for tables

Here you can select one of the Excel styles for a table with imported data.

 

Autofit columns

To fit table columns width to the data in cells automatically, select this check box.

 

Autofit rows

To fit table rows height to the data in cells automatically, select this check box.

 

Allow multiline cells

Select this check box in order to allow wrapping imported data in a cell, when the cell width doesn't fit the cell data.

 

Excel worksheet

Create new Excel worksheet for imported data

The imported data can be pasted to a new worksheet or replace the contents of the existing one. To configure this, select/clear this check box.

 

Prefix for worksheet name

If you want to create a worksheet for imported data, you can also specify a prefix for its name. For this, select Data source name if you want to include the data source name in the worksheet name, or select Custom prefix to specify any prefix for a worksheet name.
 
The name of a new sheet with imported data will consist of this prefix, followed by the name of the main table in the query or the 'Query' word for a custom SQL query.
