This is the introduction page of Create Model Wizard. Here you can choose how you want to generate a model, i.e. either generate it from database or create an empty model. If you select to generate an empty model (Model First option), you can set up parameters for creating (updating) database from your model, and after that create an empty model. If you select the Database First option, you can set up connection settings, and generate a model from an existing database. For this you will need to choose database objects and set up naming rules.

Select this option to generate a model from the existing database.
Model First
Select this option to create a new model and then generate a database from it.
Import (available for NHibernate models only)
Select this option to import separately stored hbm.xml mappings into one model.
